spring forward

Michelle Williams is too cute. She always looks amazing, original and pretty. This outfit is, admittedly, a little out of season for New York (despite how warm it's been on the east coast recently), but it's so adorable and fits my recent Spring state of mind.

She's the perfect example of how someone can show off their banging bod and still look sharp. The dress is by Erdem's Spring 2012 collection, which is absolutely to die for, full of feminine pieces in beautiful water colors. I love the fifties feel and how she didn't hem it too short or make it very tight to compensate for its ladylike vibe. She paired it with minimal jewelry, neutral peep-toes and a bright red pout. Actually upon further inspection, she's not wearing any jewelry (not even earrings with that pixie!) and no manicure or pedicure. It's literally just her beautiful face, body and that sweetly chic dress. Loving the confidence!

I can't wait to break out my pastel pieces and floral dresses. This look will be right up my alley come Spring, and I just may have to take a closer look at Erdem's whole Spring 2012 collection.
